That poster I made for Caitlin was supposed to be hung up before school started, I guess. Because she came up to Tara and me after her German class and before ours and asked if we had hung them up. Tara had hers with her and gave it to Caitlin to hang up but my poster was in my locker and I wouldn't be able to give it to Caitlin anyway, since she's my buddy that is supposed to be secret to everyone. Haha. That's funny.
Eventually I did get to hang up my poster with Daniella's help, but it was after Caitlin's lunch. Caitlin did get her poster after the game, and by what I was hearing from everyone else, she liked it. I don't know how she could like it, seeing as the painting sucked and looked more like Emily than Caitlin. It was also pretty small compared to all of the others.
Speaking of the game, it wasn't too bad. I played the whole first half and I would have played the second if I wasn't kind of icky feeling and asked the coaches if I could come out for a little. And so they let me. Kind'a surprised me. But as soon as I said that I was feeling better they put me right back in. As high left--because putting me as low wouldn't work, right?
We had managed to make a goal early in the first half. Tara specifically, because she's kind of like the JV's Megan Flocken. Not quite, because her drive is definitely not as strong as are her close quarters stick maneuvers, but good enough, fo' shure. Then, even though we didn't get another, we managed to hold Regine off from getting their own goal.
When I got back in the game, Regina was scarily dangerous. Before they did stick hack, but later they came down on the ball from about waist height to ground . . . hard. They tripped us. They didn't care if they were taking us out or not. They were just plain vicious.
But we won. See? The cleaner team wins. Those who can keep their heads.
So then I got home and spent forever on my Calc homework. Maybe it was just over an hour, but we should not have that much homework in one class. I'm falling behind a bit in German because I don't have time after my Calc to do the homework . . . and, well, because Frau Schmid doesn't teach. A common topic in field hockey, between the German students.
Waking up was rough this morning, and I almost forgot to dress up until I saw my costume. Thankfully I pulled it out this morning. No. Last night. Wow. Failure on writing.
It's funny how many comments I received from so many people about my costume. Most people are saying "It's so cute!" And my friends didn't think I was serious. >.< Of course I was!
And now I'll be done.
