Powerschool

Yeah, I've been neglecting my blog again. Yadda yadda yadda. *rolls eyes*

You know, I hate Powerschool. Always have, always will. For one, I have to get a new login ID every year, because apparently my name's faulty here. Even the teachers forget about me, I'm so outcasty! That's a word now. I have to memorize a new password and ID every year, and I don't even go on that stupid site much. I miss paper. I miss pencil.

Anyway, we were supposed to get our schedules on Powerschool mid-August. Then we were supposed to get them picture day. At least I got to see most of my friends that day, but not my classes. The word then and now is that we're supposed to get the schedules today, but apparently the techs are having problems with Powerschool! It's really ticking me off, ya know?

Heck, I don't think we're really going to get the schedules 'till the day of school. I'm glad I know the basic numbering system, and my bus is normally early. But still, I'm ready to figure out if I actually got astronomy or art or something cool like that. You know, they should have a genetics class. I'd take that up in a heartbeat. *sigh*

On a brighter note, I have a brand new fandom: Justice League! Over the past couple weeks I've been watching the episodes, and I'm nearly done with the series, which is sad. I really enjoyed the first two seasons, but then Flash and J'onn really weren't a part of the main League anymore. They've been neglected. I miss Flash's witty style and J'onn's part in the brawl. It's sad.

BUT! I do have a new top character list. But instead of five peoples, it's ten. I just couldn't narrow the list down any. In no specific order:

I also am giving out mini-boxes to my friends. Of course they're not real (sadly), but it gives me a good chance to role play with people. So far I've given one to Henry, 54viruses, Livi and Nicole (cousin). I'm going to give one to Alyssa in the form of a notebook once school starts, and I think I'll just keep giving them out until I'm overwhelmed with role play games. I'm good at doing that.

Plots? With Henry, nothing's happened yet. Viruses and I went to meet the Justice League (her idea, not mine. She's the one that got me hooked, and I'm happy). Livi and I didn't get far, but she went to a world of unicorns. And Nicole and I are in her three worlds. I'm pretty much lost in that one, but I'll get there. I was pretty confused with Viruses until I started watching the shows.

Well. Lemme see. Tomorrow I'm getting my foot cut open. If I haven't said it already, I've got this bump on my foot that's been there as long as I can remember. During the winter it gets compressed against my shoe, boot, whatever, and it gets bruised and irritated. So I'm getting it surgically removed tomorrow. I still don't know if I've said this, but I got an MRI to make sure that the bump wasn't attached to my bone. I had to sit still for I think over an hour, watching a movie that was so blurry I couldn't hardly understand what was going on (I didn't have my glasses on). Above the sound of the movie, I heard the machine. Not cool. And before the MRI I got three x-rays of my foot. I got to keep those, and they're really cool.

Um . . . I got back into genetics. Recently I researched rabbit genetics, and I'm still in the process of understanding how they all work. Actually, I think I got that pretty well, it's just memorizing what all the combinations are called in their phenotype. Lynx, opal, cinnamon, etc. A lot harder than the horse genetics.

What else? I'm sick of the weather. I hoped for a summer but got early spring all year. Um, I'm pretty sure fall's my favorite season again. *scratches head* I really need to get un-stuck with my Zodiac Tribes. Kifu's met Leland now but . . . I can't get any further. I want to wait for the seventh chapter before I actually start the Gathering, but I have like 1,500 more words to go before I can close this chapter.

Oh! I'm done working. I made a ton of money this summer, and I'm happy. But now I want to sort of buy one of those little laptop computers. It says it's only $175 dollars, but I need to do some research before I even think of running this by my parents. And I'll need to think of a reason that's profitable for them and that isn't a lie. I can't just say I want it. I definately do have $200 dollars easily, though. Just in the checks that I haven't taken to the bank from work.

I'll try to keep this updated again. But I have a habit of obsessing over something for a while, then dumping it for a year. Don't ask.
