So... Wazzup?

It feels like I haven't written in this in forever, but it's only been two days. Well, since Friday. And it's Sunday. Oh whatever!

But it seems I'm a little bit popular-ish. Jenna and Alyssa are planning a trip to the Metro park, and I already agreed to go along with them. But then Nicole (friend, not cousin) called me up tonight and asked me if I could go to her house tomorrow. Unfortunatly, I already agreed to go to the park and hang there. But still, I don't think I've ever had to turn down a friend because I'm already doing something with another friend! It amazes me, really.

Yesterday, I got new headphones for my MP-3 player, 'cuz I lost a cushy to one of my old ones. The new ones block out a lot of sound. It's so cool, man. As for the fit, I'm going to have to get used to that.

Another thing I've decided: I really, really, really need to get to work on the Zodiac Tribes. I started it as a project in yWriter5, but half of the work I did on it yesterday was erased. So I have to get the two chapters that I have... nevermind. Why should I transfer that over to yWriter, when I already have them typed out, and I still have to create at least an outline for my story? Methinks I'll do that later now. That'll save a lot of time, and then I can get to writing more quickly! Yes! I said I want to write it all -- first draft at least -- before school comes back. Then I could give it to a couple friends, have them edit it and then I can work on fixing my mistakes there. Hopefully by the time my sophomore year ends, I'll have the second draft finished, and I can actually hand it off to a professional editor... hopefully. I'm really optimistic about this one. I actually think I'm going to finish it, and that's what I need -- to believe in myself. At least Kifu's first year in the Zodiac Tribes will be finished, I promise! And hopefully, before I send my draft to an editor, I can get the outline of the second Zodiac Tribes story typed up. I just have to get back into present first, that's all!

Oh, yesterday we got a pool, too. I think it's eighteen feet diameter and four foot four inches high. Methinks, not for sure. But it's freaking awesome! And it's not one of those stupid ones with a blow-up ring, either. It's actually got a frame. So all day today (well, pretty much all day) I was shoveling dirt into a trailer and then Joe drove the tractor over to where mom and dad want the pool. There I dumped the dirt and continued the process. I got at least two blisters. And I popped one. It hurts. I actually gave in a wore a band-aid. But I'm conducting a science experiment -- which would heal faster? A popped blister? Or a not-popped blister? I'll tell you when I find out!

I signed up for a reading program at the library this week, too. I think on Friday. I have to read at least fifteen hours to get entered into the grand prize drawing. Breeze! I already have three hours done, in like three days! I should be able to read fifteen hours within two weeks. I better get something, at least. I mean, I love to read. This is just the thing to do!

So... what else do I have to babble about? Babble's a funny word. I'm listening to Abba's best song -- Money, Money, Money. I guess nothing. The mosquitos are driving me crazy. I hate bugs. And arachnids. Hate 'em. It's ten o' clock! lol
