Again

The only reason I'm in chemistry lecture is because I need to go to chemistry lab today. Also, Dr. Rader's changed her curriculum to compensate for more online shit. I swear, if all my classes have needless, worthless online loops, I'll quit on life. It's fucking stupid. All I want to do is make up half the labs, all the tests, and actually study at home. Although I guess I should explain myself better. Not only is the homework - typically busy work - online, but I have to pay an extra $50 to do it properly. This also applies to my calculus homework. Now, I may use the computer and Internet a lot, but I separate school from it in nearly any way possible. I cannot do maths digitally and I will not write the fucking problems down on paper to solve them out on top of the written assignments he has us do. Unfortunately, I need to buy the calculus class connection or I doubt I'll pass the class.

This semester is bullshit.

Monday I woke up to my alarm, reached across Abbi, and slammed it off. I quickly got ready, and nine minutes later, my clock reminded me that I only hit the snooze. Abbi rolled over in bed, but that's about it. 7:30, I left my house.

I made it to school right on time, but I still had to wait for the professor to show up. As soon as he unlocked the door, we filtered slowly in, yet quickly realized we didn't have enough seats for the people in the room. I - and a couple other people - had to go into the adjacent room and grab a chair. I was lucky enough to grab a table.

We didn't do much, yet time seemed to fly. He handed out his syllabus, but instead of going over it like nearly every other teacher and professor, he also handed out a questionnaire/syllabus scavenger hunt and had us complete that. Once we finished that, he switched it for a worksheet and we had the rest of the period to try and go through all the problems. I got about three-quarters of it done.

After I stuffed the homework away, I quickly climbed the stairs to the third floor to talk to Dr. Rader. I asked her if I needed to retake all the labs or if I could pick and choose, and I learned I really only need to come to half the labs. I guess I can do that. She also told me I should stay for lecture, since I was aiming to leave, because the course had changed up a little and I should get to know my group. *cough*bullshit*cough* That little change, by the way, was the online connection shit. Everything else was a waste of time.

Finally free of her hellhole, I drove home and simultaneously solidified plans with Sterphy and didn't have time to text Abbi to incorporate her in my tight schedule. When I did pull around the corner of my driveway, however, her car was still there. Surprised, I went in through the basement to get to my room. Everything was exactly as I left it: Abbi turned over in bed, curtains closed, room dark, and humidifier on. Abbi said she was already awake, but she was still groggy when I touched her. Granted, when I do wake her up from sleep, it usually takes me a while to wake her up.

I didn't give her much time to get ready. I took care of all the rabbits straight after I got home, but I still had to go to the post office and Lowe's before we met Sterphy at the movie theatre.

There was a line at the post office. A long line.

See, I sold Owl, the accidental second buck I got as a faux pair from Sue, to this kid while I was at work on Sunday, and in my five minute rush to get him and all the shit I wanted to sell with him, I forgot half the stuff. And, the kid was so happy to receive his bunny, he gave me $40 instead of the $20 I was asking from him. Hell, I was only asking $35 for Owl as a show buck. Needless to say, I was more than happy to send out not only the things I forgot, but Owl's pedigree as well.

After I paid for everything at the post office, we drove off to Lowe's to get another quart of yellow paint for my hutch. It's now called the happy hutch.

As soon as I had my paint, we were off to the theatre. No surprise, Sterphy was already there waiting for us. I paid for Abbi's and my tickets, Abbi paid for drinks, and then we found our movie. As soon as the previews started, I went back to buy popcorn. One day later and I already spent all the money I made off of Owl.

Thursday - continued from yesterday's journal.

We watched Elysium. It wasn't a bad movie. Pretty much average for a movie, I guess. I wiggled a lot near the end of the movie and the three of us made some uncalled for comments throughout the movie, so we obviously weren't enthralled.

The three of us didn't stick around the theatre long after the movie. I had other things to do. And Sterph had to go home and then to work. I just promised I'd go to the movies with him because his other friends abandoned him. The poor kid has to be lonely as shit. He's weird as hell, but he is a really good guy.

When Abbi and I returned to my house, we set to finishing the hutch we started painting a few days before since we had more paint. We had a lot of fun with it, and not only did we use half as much paint, but I swear we took half as much time for the second coat to boot.

Hmm ... we also stopped at Meijer to pick up ice cream, strawberries, and algae chemicals for the pool between the theatre and returning home. Monday was my mom's birthday and I had to pick up the ingredients for her dessert. So, after painting the hutch, I made the ice cream cake she wanted.

I think Abbi left soon after to go home for a little bit, and in the hour she was gone, my family ate dinner - Mr. Chicken - I packed up the four rabbits I was bringing to the fair, put all the bowls in my car, and waited. And waited some more. I was getting antsy at seven. Abbi was supposed to meet me again so we could enter Bee, Whop, Lilly, and Pixi into the Saline Fair. My deadline was eight, but it takes about half an hour to get there.

The barn the rabbits were supposed to be in was abandoned. Abbi and I had to walk around and ask a couple of people where the rabbits were to find their location. There were a lot less rabbits than I was expecting. Most of everyone were caged already, but it was still a headache to find where all my rabbits were supposed to go. All the cages were labeled with stickered remark cards already. Lilly and Pixi were next to each other, but we had to some extra searching for Bee and Whop. For some reason, the two of them aren't next to each other despite them being the only two Mini Lops at the entire show. A couple more steps were required to enter them in, and Abbi and I were good to go. All the bowls I packed up were unnecessary, too; the Saline Fair supplied bowls.

When we returned to my house again, we ate the cake I made. It was the best cake ever. A bottom layer of graham cracker crust, a layer of ice cream, a layer of smashed strawberries, and a final layer of more ice cream. my mom then opened her presents, and then Abbi and I finally retreated to my room.

Tuesday morning, Abbi woke up with me. She said she'd go to the show for me since I had to go to my first physics class. When we left, it was raining like a hurricane. I had a hard time going the speed limit on 23, and I ended up five minutes late to class. The professor didn't mind much at all.

He has an interesting accent, but I don't know how to place it. He assured us that his class was a rather easy one, so long as we pay attention. Here's hoping.

The professor let us out early, so I went to the computer commons, typed up my other journal, coasted around a rabbit forum, and I don't even know what else. I ended up in my German classroom a half hour early and farted around until the professor showed up.

I don't think I like him. He knows his stuff, but there's something I just really don't like about him. Which is a shame. That's my German class - a class I'm supposed to enjoy.

I was bored pretty much all class. Everything he was going over were things you cannot forget in the German language. Hell, I understood everything he was saying when he whisked down the aisle and blabbered to us in quick, fluent German. Everything.

Ich hab' im diesem Jahr viel Deutsch geschrieben.

Once I was let out of class, I left for work. I took 94 to Ann Arbor-Saline and pretty much - no, I did - took that all the way to work. Jamie was waiting for me, and we took care of dogs. We got stuck with the terror of threes' playtime. The girl just doesn't respond to anything. Not pain, not punishment, not yelling, not slapping - nothing.

I don't really know what else we did. Of course, we took care of all the other animals - dogs and small animals. Around five-thirty to six o'clock, Jamie left to a manager's meeting. She had me sweep and mop kennel aisles, but she was gone long enough that I finished and had plenty of time to spare. So I found Tanner, the second kennel attendant in that afternoon. We took the dogs out again, prepared their breakfasts, took care of all the small animals - and still had time to spare. So we did more odd jobs to fill the time until Jamie showed up again. Now I know Tanner and Jamie!

Jamie let us go a little before seven because we were sitting around for the last ten to fifteen minutes. As tired and hungry as I was by that time, I stopped by at Classic before going home because Abbi had my pass for the Saline Fair with her and I needed it for the next day to take care of my rabbits. I was surprised when Kayla was managing and Wes wasn't there when I walked in. She offered to make me food, but I declined. Instead, I followed Abbi and whined and begged her for my pass so I could go eat.

When I got home, I took care of my rabbits and ate immediately. I was hungry. Then I went down to my room and worked on homework until late. I finished up the calculus worksheet, but gave up on two problems I tried multiple times to work it. I also did the stupid ass online calculus and got half (eh - a third) of the problems wrong. I tried getting a couple of them perfect about a dozen times over and eventually flat-out gave up. I also tried watching Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and gave up halfway through when the Internet completely gave up on the video.
