I shout in cap locks because I'm happy.
Don't ask me when it happened in the first place, but we lost Internet about ... oh ... two-ish months ago. The only reason I have things on here from then to now is because I have a computer class ... in which I do none of the work I'm supposed to be doing. I'm all like, I'm a senior and I have inflammation of the senior disease! Seriously, I want to know who came up with the term senioritis.
Anyway, even though we now have Internet access, Istill won't be doing what I'm supposed to be doing in that class. Seriously, who uses Basic anymore? Besides the Web Pages class (which only uses GoogleSites, Dreamweaver, Woobly, and HTML - NOT PHP, CSS, AJAX, etc), I have nothing going for what I do. I build more complex websites than that. I'm *ahem* working on a database site for HA-RPG. I thought it would be easy. Funny thing is, it's not the PHP and MySQL that gives me problems. It's the CSS.
Back to the point.
First, we found that our modem wasn't working correctly. A little piece of plastic broke off or something and the cord or something wouldn't fit correctly. I dunno. I didn't much care at that point.
A little while later, my dad bought a new one. At that time, our computer moved halfway across the house to access the Internet directly. Because no matter how hard we tried, our wifi thing wouldn't connect properly to our modem.
Even with a new modem, our wifi wouldn't work. So it stayed that way for a better part of a month, at least. The only Internet access point in the house was smack dab in the living room, where my brothers or dad were most likely on the computer.
Somehow, today, my dad got the wifi working again. I'm now on my laptop, which, until today, had been used to write Fallen Apart and just about that only (I'm about 2k words into chapter ten, btw).
Although, I found out a couple days ago that I can't use my drawing tablet. The software is still installed (unless I accidentally deleted it while deleting piles of shitty files from the registry editor), and my laptop recognizes that it's externally there, but all I can do is initially make the mouse jump when touching the pen to the tablet, and then it doesn't move after that. I'll restart my laptop as soon as I'm finished with FA10, but I think I need to delete all traces of it and reinstall it.
So while I have about a dozen competitions to enter into for HA-RPG, as well as get a story line begun, I can't draw for it. I don't have the time to do anything traditionally.
For one, the AP Calc exam is coming up next month. For two, graduation season is coming. Third, my work hours are insane now that we're two people of a crew short and summer is coming along. People want their pizza. A lot of it. Thursday I had to tell people we were out of butter. T'was weird.
"I want a garlic butter crust with that."
"Um ... we're out of ... butter."
On the bright side, I should be going to a Red/P.O.D. concert in Flint with Olivia and maybe Jake. I'm excited. Olivia and I would be badass alone. Bring Jake along ... he's scary sometimes, okay? Don't piss him off when he's managing.
Anyway, I'm back. I'll be completely back once the AP stuff is out of the way.
