Quick Update

This blog, as of right now, is certainly not up-to-date. I have three different journals hanging on my wall that need typing up. I've never found the muse or time to do it yet. Joy.

Anyway, I suppose that since I haven't written anything in a while, I should post a quick update.

I've been searching for a job lately, and actually seriously putting in the effort to pick up applications, fill them out, and then turn them in. I first applied to Tractor Supply, then Jets, and then Classic Pizza. It took about ... a week, I suppose, for Classic to get back to me. I interviewed and got the job. *squee* My first day of work was this Monday. I'm a wee bit confused. My boss had me working the phones, and I don't do so swell on phones for the most part. Plus it's taking me a while to understand all of the pizzas, toppings, codes, discounts and value packs or whatever. I feel so slow and unhelpful.

Today he had me working the carry out, though. I swear that I was helping about ten different people out at once. But I suppose I'm learning on my feet. That's the good thing, right?

And I have a job. That's definitely a good thing. Now I need to accumulate money so that I can get those blasted Christmas presents. I don't much like Christmas. It can go away, and I'll be happy. In fact, take Winter along with it. No one likes winter.

Along with a new job, I also got accepted into Central. I still haven't heard back from Grand Valley, which is my first choice, but at least I have a college that I could go to. You know how freaky that sounds? I'm going to be a college student soon ...

O.O

I never mentioned my rabbits.

Dozer's a senior now, and she's the most lovable rabbit ever. She's not so very cuddly, but that's okay. I brought her in the house once so that Ben could play with her, and she was just so adorable. I sat down to give her a little break from the toddler, and she climbed all over me. She's just so friendly! And Marvin's friendlied up, too. In fact, the little guy (he's the smallest Mini Rex I've ever seen) is a little brat. Though he's normally a lot calmer than Dozer when you put him in your lap.

And then I got three more rabbits (I wanted their hutches) from this lady in Chelsea. Their Mini Rexes, but they're hugely fat and not so very friendly. I haven't really been able to put in the time to change that. I was thinking of keeping Jillian and Clover out of the three (and selling Marvin, poor bloke) if I could get them down to the right weight, right temperament and right shape. Actually, I could care less about Clover, since he doesn't have the show rabbit body. I just need a chocolate buck with a better conformation than Marv.

So, yup, that's my rabbit situation. I'm still trying to find a show that I can attend to show off Dozer. That's the reason I bought her. I'd like to at least get her in one show before I breed her, but I dunno if that's going to happen. :/

Uh ... what else?

The first trimester of school is over. I got 100% in Illustration (no surprise, really), raised my C+ in Orgo to a B-, but I haven't yet seen my AP Calc score. He hasn't finished grading the final. I ended up with a B+ in French, I think, because I refused to do the stupid Portfolio work. Seriously, that's some stupid crap. And the reason this can't be real homework is because ...? Whatever. As long as my one German class next trimester doesn't have it, I'll be happy.

GERMAN! I'm so very excited to have that class again, and with Frau Z. Good golly I love German. It's probably my favorite subject.

Although I think I start the school day with Calc. That'll be a trip.

Mmm ... I think that's about it, really, if I want to put everything in a nutshell. Just updating my journal so that I know where I've been.

"It doesn't matter where you've been, as long as it was deep." XD Nope, just trying to get my life in line. I don't much like it. I want to be a young-in again.
