So It Begins

Ah, so school begins again. Except this time I really haven't had the time to write a journal. Seriously, I've meant to, but I never could get around to it because I either was at field hockey practice or I was working on my homework. It would be great if I actually got some time to myself, but I can't let it get me down at all. I mean, I need to keep my head up and do well in school. Raising my GPA would be a miracle, but that's something I need to get done.

Okay, I don't plan on getting accepted in UofM, and honestly the only reason that I would want to is because it's so close to home, but I'm sure that I can get into Grand Valley and/or Central Michigan. Those are my goals, really. My ACT score will help me a lot, methinks, and the fact that my senior year is freakin' me out already.

The idea of college freaks me out.

Then again, I don't like anything new. I like to stick with what I know, because anything new I have to learn new habits and get comfortable all over again. I like my comfort zone. ^^ Although, academically speaking, I love learning new things. But I like a rhythm to everything. Once I pick up a new rhythm, though, I'll be all fine and freaking out will be behind me. XD So don't take my freaking out too seriously. It's normal. lol

School, already, is tricky. I rode the bus to school the first day because I had no reason to drive the car and Emily's mother wouldn't allow her to drive. The idiot picked us up twenty minutes before my school started, went under the bridge (which is nearly impossible at that time of the day), and I was dropped off ... fifteen minutes late? I had to go all the way around the school to the Aerobics room, pick up my schedule, and then I discovered that Autumn was my first hour of the day. So I had to go all the way back around the school, where I entered, and interrupt the class with my lateness. *hangs head* I didn't mean to.

But I have Illustration with her (that's going to be my calm, awesome hour), and then I have Wells with Advanced Chemistry: Organics, then Advanced Placement Calculus with Scott, French IA with Olmstead, and end the day with Physics with Callaghan. Which means that I pretty much have to teach myself physics.

Other than that, school wasn't very exciting. I have hours of homework every night, mostly due to Calculus class, but I shouldn't be surprised. For some reason I always take longer than I should with math homework.

Field hockey was a lot more interesting. We had two games this week and two practices.
