I decided that I want to go over my school day today, pretty much detail by detail again, just because I feel like it, and I haven't done it since June or somethin'.
The bus was a little early this morning, and Emily just walked out the door when Mrs. Cook pulled up to my driveway. I barely paid any attention to her when she crossed us, because I kept glancing backwards at Emily. She made it.
After getting dropped off at school, switchin' stuff out and into my backpack at my locker, and heading to the drama center of the school (and music--it's like the drama/music hallway), I just sat down and Amy came over and laid down on the floor, using my leg as a pillow. I was sitting on my legs, so after about ten minutes my feet felt really weird. And I hate to admit it, but I felt . . . uh, forget names, something for Henry still when he just started dancing with someone. Apparently he joined drama, but still. I still have feelings for him even though I don't ever talk to him anymore. It's still awkward. And I'm using still a lot. Still. Still. Still. Still. Duct tape. Duct tape. Duct tape. Oh--where's the link?
So, right. The bell rang and I went to astronomy and I didn't get to talkin' to Mr. Kimmey again about my grades, because I spent all hour cutting out my stars for Cygnus. He did help me with the magnitudes of the stars, though, because half of the stars in Cygnus have an absolute magnitude that's negative. So I used apparent magnitude. And I still didn't finish that project after . . . three days now?
After Astronomy I went to History and was happy that I filled out a movie guide thingy for five extra credit points (I just wonder if I'll get that much). I don't really need extra credit in that class, but it definitely won't hurt!
Leaving my backpack in that class, the whole north pod (apparently the school's divided into pods) headed toward the gymnasium for the pep rally. I'm nearly set that that was a waste of my time. Besides the Back to the Eighties song for the drama people and disco song they played for the teachers to show the students how to dance (controversial item--I think they should play appropriate music and that problem would be resolved). Someone broke a finger (though I'm sorta debating that now), and we watched people play musical chairs for too long, but oh well. Classes were shortened; it's okay. The band was cool, though. I love drums.
Then I went back to Stahl's room, grabbed my backpack and headed to Biology. I think I read all hour, 'cause Mr. Rafail's awfully soft that way. In fact, that was my worst hour all day.
I had C Lunch today, but it was at the same time as A lunch, so besides the shortened hours and the pep rally, my schedule was the same as any other day. At lunch I just hung out with Freshman the whole time. Although I did get to see Kimmy, Cara and talk to Jeffy--I mean, Jeff--for the first time in a long time. He's a cool guy; he was the only one who accepted me and talked to me in gym besides Austin Clark (the druggie one). Eh. They're both cool.
After lunch I headed to English and . . . what the heck did we do? Livingstone threw another project at us. If she wasn't so nice, I'd dislike her as much as Mattner. But I really did wish I brought my sketchbook today. I had so many good ideas for drawings (and found out the "Manga" Kifu I drew yesterday sucked) and I couldn't do anything besides read. I even left behind my Chronicles of the Box notebook. But I said during that class that this weekend I'm going to write my speech completely, finish a couple chapters in Zodiac Tribes and . . . oh shoot, what was the other one? Oh! Finish Gone.
Then I headed down the stairs to Foundations of Art. I finished re-drawing the wolf I drew once already onto a piece of watercolor paper, but I didn't feel like pulling out the watercolors yet, because that'd also involve lightening most of the lines that I drew. I made the wolf huge, though! He's beautiful! I can't wait to post him on deviantART.
And now I'm at home, staring at a wooden bracelet-like thing that Kyra gave me at one point. I decided that at some point after becoming friends with Leonard, that Keef's gonna carve one like it and give it to him. I mean, Leonard's the Head Artisan of the Fire Tribe, and he specializes in metal working, but Kifu's just the Head Hunter of the Air Tribe. What the heck would she give him? A dead deer? Leonard made Dragon for Kifu, and I can't think of anything that Kifu could give him that would even come close to in importance, besides herself, which I have her do at like age sixteen or something. Ah phooey. Any ideas would be appreciated, but I just realized that I'm not even going to have her meet him 'till like the third or fourth book. Stupid chronological order.
Anyway, I realized that I refer to deviantART a lot ('cause it's one of my favorite sites). Just an fyi, my account is at: http://kifuslick.deviantart.com/ . I try to update my gallery as much as possible, even if the stuff sucks. I've got some pretty old stuff on that.
Oh, and as for the song of the day, I curse the pep rally. I hate Ratt.
