Birthday

Saturday my dad and I went to a SWAP on the other side of Michigan. We left at around five-thirty and when we got there the sun was just coming above the horizon. My dad and I started pulling the birds out onto the ground, and we had the pheasants sold before everything was off the truck. Within a half hour, all of our birds were sold and gone. so then we started walking around. We saw a total of seven chinchillas, and both of us were tempted to buy a $50 one, but he held back, saying I need to do research on them, and since my mom's been in a bad mood as of late, she would probably eat us alive if we brought one home. Instead I bought a mini-rex for $5. Purebred buck with a blanket pattern castor. I named him Cashmere or just Caj.

But since the floor of the rabbit hut blew out, my dad and I have to fix that. Right now Caj has been spending days in my room and nights in the family room in a brooder. I let him out every now and again for ten minutes or so, but that's about it. Surprisingly, he doesn't pee or poo when I let him out.

Monday Henry gave me three X-Men movies to watch. Thankfully, the whole day went pretty quickly (well, except English, of course) so I didn't blow with the wait. I got home, watched some Nightcrawler specials on the X-2 DVD 'till Joe got home. We watched most of the third movie, stopping only for me to make dinner. I started at like 5:45, but we had a lettuce crisis and I don't think we ate 'till like 6:30. I went on the Internet for a few minutes, and then Joe and I finished the movie.

I tried to watch House last night, but for some stupid reason there was a stupid baseball game in its place. They were on the 10th inning with no outs, so I popped in the last X-Men movie Henry let me borrow and watched that 'till ten-ish. The Last Stand was a pretty bad movie. I was really bummed that Nightcrawler just disappeared between that and X-2. More than bummed, really. Pheonix was just all wrong compared to the comics and I didn't like at all how she killed Cyclops, Xavier and that Wolverine killed her in Cyclop's stead. Those two details were pretty much my only problem, though. Three, sorry. The Wolverine movie was pretty good, though. I really liked Gambit, but wished he had a bigger part in the movie. Other than that it was good. Sehr gut!

Ich habe heute Geburtstag! I'm actually very happy with my clothes today, but I've been a little too happy as of late. I'm wearing my black, flowy pants and my three-quarter sleeve gray shirt. But the bottoms of the body and arms gradually turn black. So my shirt goes gray, then black into my pants! See? Too happy.
