I had another one of those midnight ideas about a week back. Unlike the TMNT fanfic, I didn't actually gather supplies while the words came to me. I had a ton of what seemed like brilliant ideas at the time, but come morning when I could utilize them, I had forgotten about half of the details, including the title.
But the main idea that I had was a new MARVEL role play site. Almost everything was planned in my head, and although it isn't exactly what I had initially wanted, my idea actually blossomed into something I could work with.
So after the first day of editing things to the way i wanted, I grabbed Crystal and put her on the staff team as an admin. I forgot what we all did that day, but later I pulled in Paul as well, him as a mod. I must say, when I finally deemed the site openable, it looked pretty damned good. And it wasn't only be working on everything, either. Paul and Chris did a great deal pulling everything together.
I've also been doing a great deal of driving lately, too. I think over the past four days I drove for over six hours.
Four hours and forty minutes of that time was driving from Dayton, Ohio through Kentucky and a few miles into Tennessee. Today we spent eleven hours getting from home to our cabin in the mountains. Maybe twelve to thirteen in the car altogether. I tell ya, it was a beautiful trip.
I've decided I absolutely love mountains. I discovered that in Colorado and rediscovered it in Kentucky. And Tennessee is even more mountainous thank Kentucky. But I also know that I cannot go without a lot of trees. That sets Tennessee apart from Colorado. If I can ever get out of Michigan, I am so coming here.
I have to keep up with my camera this time--which wasn't a problem in Colorado--but also with my journals.
*sigh* If I had more energy, I'd write about the cabin and more stuff, but I've been tired for hours now. So as long as I can ignore the air hockey mere feet from where I'm sleeping, I'll settle down.
